"Since I bought these as a gift, I cannot discuss got or durability. But the look and feel like what I bought and he lived a couple of years back. There is one big exception - the sizing has changed. I sent a request to Tommy Johns last year requesting they again offer the Small size they once had. I never got acknowledgment, explanation or comment. Those socks are now gone due to holes (durability was a weakness in those but comfort was a big plus) but my husband really liked them so I am hoping these somehow magically fit tighter and work for him. Seems TJ has a thing for big boys as their ads suggest. But we both really like their products and was one of the earlier adopters of TJ when they were so exclusive and in just a few stores. So I tried these again for my husband. I hope they work."

"I reluctantly have to admit i am disappointed with the purchase. Upon only the second wearing of one of pairs of socks, i found a hole in the sock at the big toe location. I was flabbergasted to find a hole in the sock after such a short time. One would assume that the sock would be reinforced in the toes section of the socks. I wanted to like these socks but the proof is in the pudding."
